Jess McCluer, Director of Safety and Regulatory Affairs with the National Grain and Feed Association, is responsible for directing and managing the NGFA’s wide-ranging operations programs for grain elevators, feed mills and grain processing plants. He also oversees the NGFA’s activities regarding employee safety and industrial health, environmental issues, grain-handling facility design and equipment, grain inspection and weighing issues, grain and feed quality and agroterrorism related issues.

Brian Grimm, Safety Director, Bartlett Grain Company, L.P.
Brian Grimm, Director of Safety with Bartlett Grain Company, L.P. is responsible for directing and managing Bartlett’s safety and environmental programs for the grain company locations.  He develops the written programs, performs site evaluations and inspections, develops the training materials, performs investigations, and administers the Safety Management System including preventive maintenance.  Prior to joining Bartlett in 2002, Mr. Grimm was Plant Manager for ADM Milling and Operation’s Manager and Reengineering Specialist for Moorman Manufacturing. Brian earned his undergraduate degrees in Agricultural Engineering and Feed Science & Management from Kansas State University.  Brian also completed his MBA.

Donnie Wood, CSHO, Executive Director, Loss Control, Triangle Insurance Co.

Donnie began his Loss Control career servicing commercial ag-business in OK and TX in 1985.  In 1995 he started a safety and compliance consulting program for a commercial ag-insurance agency in Lincoln, NE servicing accounts in NE, CO & WY. He began his career with Triangle Insurance Company in the spring of 1998 as Manager, Loss Control Services. He was responsible for the overseeing of Triangle’s Loss Control Department as well as the Safety and Compliance Management Program. With the expansion of SCMP, Donnie was appointed Manager, Safety and Compliance in 2001. His continued hard work paid off, as the program grew to over 200 accounts in 10 states. In 2009 Donnie accepted the Director, Loss Control and Safety position, resuming the duties of managing both the Loss Control Department and the Safety and Compliance Management Program.  Donnie is dedicated to continuing his safety education for the benefit of Triangle customers. He completed his Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) designation at The Texas A & M University, Texas Engineering Extension Service in November 2009. In 2015 Donnie was appointed the Executive Director, Loss Control and oversees Triangle Insurance Company’s, Loss Control Department and the Research and Development of safety programs utilized by the Loss Control and Safety and Compliance Management Program.
